I’m writing this blog because a psychic told me to. Seriously.
I’ve tried a few times to write a blog, and each time I’ve failed to keep up with posting my thoughts. So, when a sweet natured seer insisted I should persist with writing a blog, I made this WordPress page.
This blog is dedicated to my love of all things true crime. It may not be for the faint hearted, but I promise to give you a mixture of fact and opinion.
I’m currently living in Manchester, UK with my other half. The things that make me happy are food, books, true crime, books, good TV shows and any kind of animal.
Not geese though. Definitely not geese. Bastards.

I have recently joined the group and hope my story will be of some interest to the other members.
I am a Canadian author who just finished my book ” Murder Lost to Time ” which is on amazon.com.
It’s a true crime mystery about a murder that took place July 20 , 1917 in Toronto , Canada .
The victim was my great uncle , a taxi driver , who’s homicide was never solved until I began my research approx. 7 years ago.
It’s a love story , early immigration , alcohol prohibition, bootleggers , gangsters , and a criminal mastermind that had 3 police forces baffled with false clues they were spoon feeding them .The biggest problem in the case was trying after 94 years to identify a mysterious man and woman who hired him and his cab that night , they were never identified and the case went cold and sat for 9 decades . I identified them only to have other mysteries needing to be solved . It was a strange case , Any questions or comments are welcome .

Have you ever read the story of David and Debbie Stewart? David murdered his wife and buried her under a backyard fishpond after her had dismembered her body. He then told her family, their friends, and the police that Debbie had left him in the middle of the night with some mystery man. David also told them that she was calling him from different cities and took her family on a wild-goose chase to find her. It would be three years before he is brought to justice

Love it-Would you be interested in my latest release Pritchard-about Dr edward william Pritchard the last man to be publicly hanged in Scotland in 1865 for the motiveless murder of his wife and mother-in-law? Great blog by the way.

Have you ever done a post on Jodi Arias? I just read an account by the man who prosecuted her for murder. It’s scary to think that if she hadn’t made one or two mistakes, she could easily have not been caught.

Thanks for your great blog! Have you considered writing about Michelle Carter who is on trial for manslaughter for repeatedly encouraging her boyfriend Roy Conrad to kill himself? It’s a tragic and fascinating story.

another book that might tickle your fancy is In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. I had to read it in seventh grade back in the early 1960’s. I also had to do a paper on the book. That is what started me on my true crime writing journey. None of my true crimes are sanitized. Because of my back ground in criminal justice, I get to the heart of the matter in raw unfiltered language. You will know be told the story of who the best friends were, what school they went to or their favorite color. You will see the crimes through the lens of the criminal justice system. They are not for everyone.

In Cold Blood is definitely on my reading list! Your background sounds really interesting, how did you get into it? I understand that it’s not for everyone. I think that because it’s such an interest of mine, I’m able to distance myself from the horrific parts of the story. Thanks so much for commenting!
